Joanna’s Apartments are situated just a short drive from Kalamata, approximately ten minutes away, in Avia. The property sits nestling into the hillside at the foot of the Taygetos Mountains and is surrounded by shrubs and flowers simply bursting with colour. From this elevated position you will be able to enjoy the stunning views over Kalamata Bay towards Messinia from your large terrace. The magnificent sun sets are something to behold and will be forever etched into your memory.
The main house is occupied by Joanna and her husband and they will be there to greet you with a warm welcome and show you to your apartment on arrival. The hire of a car is recommended and there is off-road parking provided. You can choose from many of the surrounding beaches, the nearest being just a few minutes drive away. There are many places to eat and relax in the evenings, again just a short drive, and it really is up to you how far you choose to venture!
The apartment sleeps 4 people and consists of 1 bedroom, a bathroom and an open-plan lounge, dining, kitchen area with a large sofa bed. The price of rental varies according to the time of year and occupancy.

The apartment is available for rental all year as there are many activities that can be arranged throughout the seasons. These include walking, painting and of course Greek cookery. These courses can be arranged with an additional cost, these costs are dependant on the number of people in the group. You are welcome to bring your own equipment, easels etc. and do your own thing! We will be more than happy to help where we can. There are other apartments for rental and information is available on request.
